@ simontimon2...Existing BC Hydro dams produce all the power BC needs with enough left over to export. Conserving and using energy sensibly is a better way to go than causing more damage to the environment which appears to be of concern to you.

Private, run of water project produce far less enviromental damage then BC hydros dams which flooded hundreds of thousands of acres of wild life.
