hi.. can i ask, what are the requirements for keeping live corals and rocks for saltwater tank??? what temperature needed??? lightning system??? for how long the tank running before i add corals and invertebrates?? how much size tank needed? hope u can help me to improve my salt water tank.. since i am beginner for salt water tank.

@ZZMann33 i have the same problem what i did was take about 80 percent of it off and sell it to a aquarium store, it grows back fast as you may know but its really the only thing you can do unless you dont want it anymore just take it all out obviously, sorry if this didnt help though

cut your lighting hours down, this might stop the algae growing anymore.
i would go to your LPS and ask what they type of algae feeds of. (i had problematic algae Redish slime) and it is fueled by phosphate within the tank.
take a sample to the LPS for reassurance
