Most of this is great -- how about an updated 480 version? I think wearing a helmet is a no-brainer but it's not the most important thing: visibility (clothing, lights) is far more important. There ought to be some mention of how to take the lane: in some circumstances -- blind bends, passing parked vehicles -- you absolutely have to do this to be safe on the road. Ignore the bike fit advice at 1:56 -- ask your LBS for a proper fitting!
