This scene is from the movie 'Across the Universe'. Lucy (the blond girl) finds out that her boyfriend has been killed in Vietnam. The scenes of the city violence and black funeral are referencing the 1967 12 street riot. The riot and the death of the child brings Jojo to travel to New York.

This shows the difference between black and white cultures in the 1960's....blacks were mostly dying in riots for "civil" rights....most Whites were dying in a senseless war.
