Part 1 of 3, a quick description on how to read runes and a rather detailed explaination of the "celtic cross" rune reading spread. sorry about cutting this one so short, I ran into a bit of an issue half way through.

  • Where did you get those amethyst runes?! They are gorgeous and dark!

  • @pri22v11 This is my favorite part... I made them. I got the stone at a gem fair and carved/painted them. I loved them very much, but alas gave them away when I made my current set (emerald and black tourmaline with copper inlay) I might give those ones away too, if I make myself another set, but not likely, since emerald is my birthstone and I love them (A LOT!)

  • Hi Eric ! Could you please, explain a little more about the meaning of position 3, and the difference it mâles with position 6 ? Thank you you very much in advance, Odin be with you too...

  • @Powerstation62 Thanks for the comment. You can usually see a little of what the person you're reading for wants in the third position... it's what they either expect or want to happen. sometimes those things aren't the same thing. position 3 (in my experience) doesn't usually effect the rune in position 6. usually it's the other way around... depending on whether or not they overcome 4 through the actions and challenge of position 5. this will also usually tell you whether 3 happens or not

  • Hi,

I really got a LOT of use out of these Runes videos. Thank you so much! What I have done with this information is take notes, and then tonight, I shared them with my gaia guild. I also gave credited, and shared a link to these videos/& you on youtube.

  • @avonwithgeneva Thank you, I'm glad they were helpful for you.... and of course... thanks for the shameless plug. I do appreciate it.

  • @toktz1 as with many other things, magic is neither black nor white, neither dark nor light. it is the intent of the user that makes any tool or magic good or bad, malignant or benign. but in my personal experience no, runes are neither dark nor black magic.

  • it surprises me how many people here, inclusing myself, are more drawn to runes than to tarot. I've tried reading tarot, but for the same reasons as you I choose to work with runes. they speak to me.

    thanks for the video :)

  • @Lurch579 Thanks for posting this. You have provided an indispensable resource for me and my Heathen studies. Odin be with you, brother.

  • Reading runes seems to be very interesting. I would like to know more about how to do this kind of stuff.

  • *this (and not Thierry LOL ! Not very practical to write on a mobile phone)

  • Thank you Eric for Thierry explaination ! So position 3 refers more to personnal expectations than "future" itself. Well, by the way, I would like to thank you (as manu people here) because your work on runes is very helpful :) I find your approach very practical and when watching your videos, we can feel that you have this truly experience with them, honestly. I siège you good continuation on your path !
