@ConceitedDiamond9999 In other words, everyone thought Beyonce outshined Alicia in the song and video so it was a good idea for her not to release the video. The song was also pulled from a few radio stations...

I found out why the vid wasn't released. This is the information they gave on wikipedia:"Beyoncé nearly manages to jolt Keys out of her midtempo comfort zone on 'Put In A Love Song', encouraging 'A' to show her sassy side over bootyshakin' Swiss Beatz rhythms."
Jim Farber of Daily News commented that Knowles' "gymnastic style" during the song, overshadowed Keys' vocals.
"Beyoncé delivers what is, by a rather large margin, the best vocal performance of the album's second half."

@yoboiiglen Oh my goodness, I think you're right. I looked it up on wikipedia and it's said "Knowles' gymnastic style during the song, overshadowed Keys' vocals." It's in the critical reception part on wikipedia. Wow...I kinda feel bad for Alicia.

@100stacy They never released it because they said Beyonce was showing her out in her own video. Which I'd agree. all bey's costumes and energy was a lot more powerful then alicia keys. and since bey was better they never released it. can release something when your co star looks better then you in it. makes you look bad. ALICIA KEYS JUST SHOULD OF STEPED HER GAME UP
