EVE Online with Linux

EVE running on Ubuntu using Wine, with Beryl 3D Desktop enabled using the Nvidia driver native support.

The video is about half the speed it was actually running due to the desktop recording software taking up too much CPU.

yes well this video was made and posted 6 months ago!

as for the 'native' client. it's actually just the windows client running in Cedega, packaged up to install quickly and easily.

as it says in the description and my forum post, the lag is from the screen recording program, its about 2 or 3 times that fast with it off. but i can't record that :p

If your trying to show off how linux can run eve, you failed. It's running in slideshow mode.

However, i've seen, and done myself. So i know that on a moderate system, eve runs fine under wine/cedega.
