...to skilfully comment on artworks. What I can say is that I like a lot of your artworks, and you yourself come across as a really nice bloke. If ever you are in London I will take you out for a beer.
Many Thanks

Done and uploaded. As I said - I'm not that great at being a critic but you did ask. Check my channel for the video. Feel free to comment, be offended or laugh your head off! Better yet, do a critic of my art.

Many thanks

I've seen art with the same purpose and intention as Ryman's in real life and it's equally boring to experience. Ryman's art is about the properties of the materials used and how they interact with each other, hence he goes to great length to separate his presence from the artwork its self so as not to distract from the focus of the materials i.e. the paint, its support and the metal bolts. It surprises me that he actually gave this work a title which expresses something about his intention.

5:27. You're right, but for all the wrong reasons.
The subject of the painting is itself

Yes I know that. It's the equivalent of me buying a blank canvas, doing nothing to it and telling people I want them to appreciate the canvas in its natural state , unhindered by my personal expression. The subject of the canvas is the canvas. It's pretentious and insulting to other artists. It's art by spin doctoring.

I personally enjoy insulting other artists and think the concept of 'spin' a vitally important one in modern society.

Your point about 'spin' is true.
