  • the absolute best I've seen this scene done WOW!!!! ♥ It :D

  • seriously!? 1 dislike hmmmmm

    well, you wouldn't know what good opera singing was

    even if it jumped up and bit you in the ass! LOL ;D

  • 1 of the best Commendatore voices I've ever heard!!!!!

  • best statue costume I've ever seen!!!!

  • i did not know that such a beautiful, sublime aria existed just BEFORE the commendotare scene. a hidden gem. ah, my dear wolgangus amadeus crisostomos theophilus gottlieb M, what a pleasure it would have been to chat with you over a capuccino.

  • Every commendatore is represented differently amongst at least from what i have seen on youtube. Some of them i must admit are quite creative like this one, but i arent very frightening.

  • More proof that Sam is awesome, even w/ Moll in the vid! I like the belt that Elvira has over her corset!

  • @morningstranger I understand if you like Burchuladzes

    voice but saying that Burchuladze is doing a better job than Moll is like saying that you like Terfel singing Son lo spirito che nega aria better than Ramey or Anastasov;

  • @morningstranger Ok, smarter guy. Indeed singing does not mean D2; But in this perticular case the Commendatore role was writen for a dramatic basso profondo; Burchuladze either isn't one or he doesn't have enough power at D2 to sing it on stage;

    I understand that basso profundos are a rare thing;

  • @Gaetumrex Ok, smart guy. I'm not here to chat with you, but it turns out that you are really good in opera if you don't know who "the other guy" is. I might surprise you a lot, but I've listened both to Moll and Burchuladze live. And singing doesn't mean "D2', it's a much more complicated art. So please spare us of useless and clueless comments
