  • you're wrong, an omnibounce doesnt soften the light down! it only directs the light in all directions! The softness of the light is caused by the apparent size of the lightsource!

  • External flash pictures come out more 3D, you're are definitely right about that.

  • Do I need to have the have the sync cable or can the TTYL or whatever be sent wirelessly with a wireless speedlite?

  • why would you use a third party bounce dome on the SB900 when it comes with one already made? and much better than the Sto-fen one

  • Great and informative video! What you didn't mention is, when using an external flash, you may just direct it in a 45 degree angle towards the ceiling to get nice and even light. Once again, as with the omnibounce, you'll preferably need a low, white-coloured ceiling to get a good result.
