American comics author Felipe Smith, the first and for the moment only Westerner to have been successful, independently, to publish during a long period of time a monthly series in a big Japanese publisher (Peepo Choo, Kôdansha, 3 volumes), gives some advices for becoming a professional mangaka in Japan.   • @tobitguren of coure they can just look at the mangaka of one piece is married and i know the mangaka of hunter x hunter is married to the mangaka of sailor moon . and they have kids . hope this helps :) dont give up on becoming a mangaka ever

  • @beccaotaku Depends on who publishes your work in the US. you could even get it animated if it sells well. Mark Crilley's a really popular artist on youtube, and Warner Brothers is considering adapting his manga Miki Falls into an animated Movie.
