Is your exhaust the Cat Back System or the Axle Back? I have had a Cat Back paid for and ordered for my 2011 GT for 3 months and it still had not shipped. I heard that they were shipping the Axle Back systems and there was some hold up on the Cat Back systems.

@dm273stang It's a Cat Back. I think the problem is someone complained a few months ago about drone with the Touring cat back and Borla decided to stop shipping and selling them until it was figured out. I haven't had any drone or problems, so I'm not sure if the complaint was legit or not. I would send David Borla an email to see what the deal is. I am sure he will respond ASAP to you.

This is by far the best sounding 4v 5.0 I've heard to date! Most have that almost misfiring sound in the exhaust and I don't like that at all...Almost like a subaru wrx but with a V8 tone. It's hard to explain. Until I heard yours, I thought the 3v was much better sounding than the 4v. Is there anything else done to your mustang other than the exhaust? Thanks

@IrishChris1979 Thanks man. I realize that sound is subjective, but from everything I have heard online and in person there is no comparison to Borla.

To answer your question, no I have no other mods.

Sounds pretty good. More like sporty, exotic import V8 sound. Little timid for me though. Probably good for a California car, since they have noise restrictions. Sounds like it's trying to breathe a little more. For Mustangs gotta have that intimidating American Muscle sound. I like the Stainless Works retro chamber with longtubes. But if you must stick with Borla, the S-type is awesome.

Thanks so much for uploading these videos. I have a 2011 with roush axlebacks and the sound is just getting annoying. Too loud at low speeds and idle. This touring exhaust seems like it will be perfect.

@Twiztid5one3 My Cat Back system came with the X pipe. I'm pretty sure you can buy just the mufflers if that's what you want.

@Daytona79 I knew what you meant, lol. You are right. Seems like a lot of guys only care about how loud the set up is, with no consideration to the quality of the sound. The Touring is very quiet inside the cabin unless your flogging it. Thanks for the kudos!

What a beautiful sound. The sound of the Borla Touring makes me wanna buy one right now. It's too loud but it surely has a deep sound. I was comparing sound files and I've noticed pretty much all of them are too loud or they sound more like a Harley at higher rpm's. I was also wondering if you could post some from the inside while you drive. Would be nice to hear her from the inside. Great car also the updated wheels look great on your car. Two thumbs up for it.
