Hi Ken great to see you here after such a long time sounds like my son's era he's 26 but he taught me how to send and recieve email as well as my first cell phone he showed me how everything works now I'm a old pro couldn't live without a puter or a cell ha ha take care peace~Zoom((((hugs))))

Good video!!! Brings back memories of my 1st computer (early 1980s), Texas Interment, 7KB Ram & had to use a cassette tape recorder to store data. No internet, but there were BBS that people ran out of their own houses.

hehe yup totaly, but one thing that was bad back then is that you where not knowing to who you where talking too but at least with video/skype whatever i think kids can more easily spot the stalkers and it's quite easy to know that your not chatting with cute girl when you video chat with an old 90 perv :)

... Like they webcam with people they don't know, they phone with strangers, make videos on youtube and show the whole world even where they live. So, yea, I thank the old days because back then the worst that could happen is that some weird dude wud start swearin in the chat, and thats it, then you would press BLOCK and go away. Now...if u press BLOCK, this guy goes on facebook and stalks u, on twitter and stalks u, etc.

Thanks for the awesome response ken! Yea you experienced the "pre-web 2.0" era a lot more than i did. I only remember a few snippets here and there, like when I was playing mechwarrior 4 (dunno if u know it, i LOVED it) online with other people, and people were just sayin random BS and it was just fun. I think I'm quite lucky not to have grown up in this new web 2.0 era, coz if i think what happens nowadays on the web to children its just crazy....
