riding the elevator form 1-13 at macys this place is considered the HQ macys even though the HQ in NYC because this was the Kaufmanns HQ before macys bought them as this was built as a Kaufmanns in 1885 after over 100 years Kaufmanns turns to macys

  • no it was someone else and it was not the same floor they got off at either

  • @patricknedz If I were going to film, I would use independent service on these and the OTIS too.

  • Was there ever an elevator in the set of doors furthest to the right? It looks like a storage closet on the two floors the doors appear on.

  • very very nice elevators. too bad they were modernized.

  • This elevator was probably built in the early 1930s. It was modernized probably in the 1970s, because of the buttons and the way the chime sounds. This elevator does look very old.
