NEW REBELUTION FEATURING HEATBOX AT HARVEST FEST 2008 HARMONY PARK, GENEVA, MINNESOTA

New Rebelution was the best discovery I made while traveling to the music festivals of 2008. During Project Earth 2008 at Harmony Park in Minnesota, I met Phone Jackson of New Rebelution and Jojo of Wookiefoot the night of the pre-party, and Phone Jackson gave me a New Rebelution CD. Upon the first few seconds of listening to their music, their lyrical and musical skill and raw energetic power charged me up, and reflected again to me the truthfulness of musical artists that profoundly lifted my eyes to a higher ground, such as Bob Marley.

I was compelled to return for Harvest Fest 2008. New Rebelution performs here in this clip with Heatbox, the sensational beat-boxer extraordinare that lends his vocal prowes to Track 3 of New Rebelution's first album, the incredible "Til the Break Of". This show was the highlight of my 2008 festival season. Thank you, New Rebelution and Heatbox!

I have been waiting for someone to upload this entire set when Heatbox came out and performed with the New Rebelution! Thank you so much! Too bad I can't remember much from this, only that it rocks......damn mushrooms!
