i know this is like 3 years old. but i just had this done. and im ugh in so much pain. its like a throbbing pain. my top lips are numb and my nose. and i also had baby teeth pulled my canine baby teeth pulled which those are hurting too. and im also getting implanted teeth. did you get yours? and how was it?

I just had the surgury a few hours ago. It looks so much better! No pain is setting in yet. I hope it stays that way. haha

the only thing that's gonna hurt is getting numbed up with the shots. they sting a bit, but its not bad....

do they have to cut that tissue!? im having a gingivectomy tomorow... and im a little bit freaked out about that!... my prom is in 3 days! ihope im ok by then...

no, my frenulectomy was necessary for my smile. They didnt' tell me before they cut it, but I guess it was ordered by my orthodontist. Either way, even after the surgery, I didn't realize at first that they had done it....it was just common sense after i found stitches there. Don't worry- the surgery does not hurt. The shots sting a little, but its all for the best. Good luck at your prom!!!
