Let's Play Rift - Part 9 - Tripping The Rift

Part 9 of my 'Let's Play' gameplay and commentary in the new MMO, Rift, by Trion.

In this episode, as we journey to meet up with an NPC named Rudi, we unexpectedly find ourselves amongst the chaos and excitment of a genuine Rift. We leap in at the deep end, a trial by fire, as we quickly learn about these amazing phenomenon. Before we have a chance to recover, yet another Rift opens, thrusting us immediately into the action once again. As if that wasn't enough, we're then assaulted by a warband of invaders as they attempt to take over our outpost, as yet more Rifts open around us.. 'action packed' is one way of putting it.
And, "Reach out and touch them."

A friend of mine got this game on launch i tried it a little on his account but i wasn't having it at the time, already had wow didn't need another mmo. But I've just started on the free trial, and after the starter instance shit gets real :) ,having a blast so far. I probably will end up buying it

@Poogist the rifts and invasions are just one of the many aspects of the game that i love. in fact they remind me a lot of one of my favorite parts of Tabula Rasa - the Bane Invasions =)

The reason there were so many rifts and invasions was because Silverwood experienced a Major Invasion: Rifts all over the place (only one type), invasions, and a typical "defeat x rifts, x invasions, defeat x amount of y's"
