Waiter "Eugene" falls during terrible storm that caused ship to lean 33 degrees... Main Seating Deck 3 Dining Room.... The Head Waiter is wearing the burgundy jacket and is seen bringing in a wheelchair for a passenger. The video certainly does not show the intesity that was felt by the people on board.

  • @ecw0647 the cptn told me directly the ship tilted 33 degrees & we encountered 20-30 ft seas & hurricane force winds. The dishes on the tables were sliding off just about everyones tables around us, most held them down. It is one of those things where you had to be there. I am a seasoned cruiser (12+ cruises) & this was intense & I ALWAYS travel in October! I will continue to cruise with Royal Caribbean they handled the situation very well & they are the ONLY cruise line I will travel on!

  • We had some rough waves on the Allure of the seas even thro it's the largest ship in the world

  • I am too a season cruiser i've been on 28+ cruise and i go sometimes 2-3 a year. I was on the Carnival Legend when it hit Enchantment of the seas, BTW i'm in the video. "I'm the one that looks at the camera and has the OH SHIT THIS IS GOING ON YOUTUBE look".

  • @Kroncaglione 20-30 foot seas wouldn't set a ship that size at a 33 degree angle. Freedom of the Seas is at 160,000 Ton of a Vessel bigger than some Aircraft Carriers. By looking at the Hurricane Season from 2011 the storm you were in was Ophelia and the storm was Heading north. So your were getting hit with Tropical storm force. And i'm using the Beaufort scale i say you were hit by gale 11 with more like 37-52 foot waves.

  • I went on a Royal Caribbean cruise too and I was very impressed with how the staff were very helpful. Royal Caribbean is a very dependable, safe and fun cruise line!!!!!!!!!

  • @MrMiles716 Ships are safer in water than at dock. In the sea they are not hitting the pier causing damage to the ship.

  • why did the capatin head out thereif there was a hurricane like that

  • She had perfect timing to zoom in just for when the waiter fell... almost too perfect, like she somehow caused it.

  • you can tell when there is somthings bad the weighters start to get worried

  • Where was the attack?
