  • If you want an example of how I am currently communicating with both parents and students (7th-9th grades), you can check out my class website at jpbunker.com. It might give you some even better ideas... using Google sites.

  • question are your students over the age of 13 ? and do you think it is approprate to set up a face book page for 7- 10 years old kids ?

  • @Cabbit22 This video was designed for students in 8th grade and above. I find most students are already on facebook, and their engagement improves by going into their world. I think if you were to set up a "group" for littler kids, it would be more focused on the parent communication aspect.

  • like this Idea making it a parent class group rather than a student group I can see the benefits more for the parent group to have a place to talk I can see school events like sports day were you ask for volunteers this group might help . Also I can see it helping send home work home and you can know that the parent has gotten any all class notes. I can see modifying it to suit thanks for the idea.
