  • Well done, I built my first boat when I was 40 so you guys beat me by quite a margin. I know what that grin means when you sail it for the first time.

  • Great job guys. You stuck with it and built a great little boat. You might not realize it yet but you learned much more than boat building. Best wishes!!

  • Looks great, ive had a stack of plans sat on my bookshelf for a couple of years now - im inspired to finally make a start

  • Well done Gentlemen!

I'm the person who transcribed the plans that you used as a basis for your boat and am very impressed with your results. You have a couple of unique modifications. I haven't seen a keel strip on this boat before but it looks nice and makes sense. I liked the original lateen sail, but you used what you had available it it seems to have worked well.

I hope you have as much fun with this boat as I did with my own.

  • how fast does it go?

  • Well, the young men have built a very nice sailboat. I hope that she sails for a long time to come. I enjoyed watching the hard work that you have put into her, nice father to have helped and let you learn.

  • Amazing Video. Had alot of fun watching. You kids are lucky to have a father who cares so much!

  • Great Job Boys! You guys are lucky to have a father who cares so much! Bon Voyage!
