David Crosby was quite the stage hog it seems. Here in this interview he says people all over the world learned this song from him and recorded it. Yeah, right. They learned it from David. Very few people even know that ANYONE besides Hendrix ever did it and all the cover bands today play the Hendrix version.

I always liked McGuinn's style - nothing fancy - just solid. Crosby was such an arrogant little dick back then - I knew his bro Chip when I lived in Santa Barb. & he couldn't stand his ego either - they sang folk together in Les Baxter's Balladiers before the Byrds. David has mellowed with time & his mistakes & is a talent who has made a contribution.
