@MusicManOhYeah the potential for loss of beat is parried by the beatboxer, who isn't picked up well in this vid, and I've heard the arrangement both ways (s or l), and in my opinion this way it's a lot easier to have the chord line up and sound all nice and shit!

Background "doo's and "dah's" should have been STACCATO not LEGATO. the beat of the song was lost due to this.
on the other hand, the solo singer was great.
