toyota mr2 sw20 3 liter V6 n/a 1/4 mile drag race, 3VZ-FE

This is one of a handful of MR2 sw20's that have had an engine conversion from a 2 liter naturally asperated 4 cilinder 3sge engine into a 3 liter 3VZ-FE V6 engine, the engine is running at around 200bhp and is in pretty much stock form, the only real modification is the exhaust as the engine was from a front engine car it has been made shorter and fitted to a MR2 exhaust back box, and the time over the line is 14.02 seconds.

I own this car and I just made an account to clarify the details.

The run was 14.14561 @ 95.96 mph.

0-60ft was 1.973 with a reaction of 0.94788

The car is a 1990 MR2 with 3.0L V6 Camry engine from a '93 model with 153k miles on it! One off y-pipe - no cat, 17deg BTDC timing. Standard silencer, g-box and clutch.

The other car was a Volvo T5 turbo (2.5litre turbo engine), which ran a 15.26300 @ 95.57 mph.
