Bono Vox (U2) - Interview 9/9

This is an incredible piece. Bono is courageous and calling people out to do as Jesus commanded us. He has convicted me to act, and I will start in my church. People that hate on him, such as Henry Rollins, are missing the point. He cares not what you think of him, just to get justice and carry his command from God to fruition. I admire his honesty and not pulling punches. God Bless and let's do our part!

Pure common sense.

What is so amazing is that when talking about subjects that are so easy to glaze over, to sugar coat, Bono speaks with passion, AND intelligence. Strategy is the key here. Education and intelligence. If you speak to religious leaders, speak of Jesus. If you speak with politicians, speak of economics. If you speak to individuals, speak of individual responsibilities.

Good work with the translation; it does lose some of the poetry in German, though ;) Where the Streets have no Name translates a bit better than some of the earlier ones in these clips. Much thanks!

"Stop asking God to bless what you do....get with what God wants to do and it will already be blessed" I am not surprised that some people call Bono a prophet. I thoroughly enjoyed this series covering the entire interview and am grateful that you posted this.

Well said. He is indeed very profound and good role model in translating the bible and moral issues into practical steps that we all might take.
