The Secret Machines' spellbindingly psychedelic new video "Atomic Heels" in support of the first single released last month off their self-titled "Secret Machines". Photographer/director Brantley Gutierrez used a digitized multi-layering technique in much the same way an album is multi-tracked, to create a 3D-like surreal backdrop that conjures singer Brandon Curtis' vertigo-induced vision of a mesmerizing, alienating muse which haunts and taunts him. The result is a super-saturated 4-minute journey through a strobe-heavy array of experimental art madness, synchronized to a pulsating groove.
