The Battle of Britain from the War Classics Collection.

At the conclusion of the film Britain's pilots are readying an air assault that will finally lead to payback for Hitler's oppression."

Directed by Frank Capra.
Circa 1943.

  • @LootsEr ahah where the hell do you get your inaccurate information from?

  • 3:56

    He did? Interesting.

  • @LootsEr Dont get your information from Wikipedia! lol

Germany had 4000 Aircraft during WW2, Britain had roughly 1,750.

And many times it was 10-1 British outnumberd.

eventuly Britain invented a secret weapon called 'Radar' though wich helped.

  • @LootsEr The reason the video says the British were outnumbered 10 to 1, is because at some times they were. Because the Germans were invading, they could send as many planes as they wanted wherever they wanted. The British however had to spread their planes out because they didn't know where the Germans would strike. Therefore the Germans could almost every plane they had to one place but the British only had a few planes in that area, which is how the 10 to 1 ratio came about.

  • @MrLunafied Probably not all accurate anyway...

  • @LootsEr In the beginning of the war, yes..

  • This video is bullshitt. They say that the Germans outnumbered them "10 to 1". The Germans lost 1,887 aircraft and British lost 1,547 aircraft destroyed during the battle of britain. The Germans had 2,550 serviceable aircraft and the British 1,963 serviceable aircraft. Thats a ratio of 1.2 against 1. 10 to 1? wtf??? The Britsih only destroyed 340 more aircarft then the Germans. This video sucks!!

  • dump germans

  • i wish that part was cut out....

    its givin me a headack

  • Most of these "Why We Fight" films were directed by Frank Capra.
