  • @JavierAri12 If you look the name up on the web, you should be able to have an idea who they were.

  • @jeffpad520 that's quite a comprehensive list ya got there. I'm in total agreement, waaay too much division in the bride. We need more unity as the bride of Christ. My humble opinion is, if it's not a salvation issue (a teaching leading unto damnation) it's not worth arguing about.

  • This was wrote about 80ad long before the Catholic Church was even formed. The Nicolations lived during this time that John wrote.

  • Who are the Nicolaitans? Because my mother keeps telling me it's the Roman-Catholic Church; but I'd like to get a second opinion

  • An interesting translation of Revelation and refreshing presentation. God bless you and your effort, Richard Darnell

  • There is a production company touring the country with a word for word musical of Revelation. Check it out by entering revelation promo 1 in the youtube search. The company is called More Than These and you can find them on the web. God is Good

  • cont'd: The authorities of each of these organizations WILL NOT subject themselves to each other. So wheres the unity? Where is the unity of the Body of Christ? Most of these groups are led by a single authority figure like a President, Pastor General, Prophet, , or Pope of which there is no scriptural inference in the New testament church. The Body of Christ exists in small groups and individuals scattered throughout. I would not advocate anyone venture into this Cauldron of confusion.

  • @N1k1mon: Easier said than done.Which body are you referring to? Roman Catholicism?, Mormon?, Jehovah Witness?, Anglican?, Church of God?, SevenDay Adventist?, Lutherans?, Pentecostals?, Baptists?, Methodists?, Greek Orthodox?, Indian Shakers?, Messianic Jews?, Arianism?, Molokans?, Christadelphians?, Makuyas?, FDLS?, British Israelism?,Friends of man?, Branch Davidians?, Plymouth Brethren?, Mennonites?, Presbyterian?, Dutch reformed?, Diocese of the Great Lakes?, Cooneyites?, Gay Apostolic?...

Based on what you're saying, it's a wonder he went to the trouble of establishing his church at all. And the apostles doing all that work appointing people to positions of administration such as Bishops & Deacons, their instructions to Teachers of the gospel, explaining how the several gifts of the Spirit are for the benefit of the all, etc. I was under the impression that the body was made up of all the parts, Jesus being the Head, for a reason?
