what i dont understand, is that the world is SUDDENLY scared of islam right after September 11. This religion did not come out eleven years ago. If that was the case, then yes, you should be scared. This religion has been around for 1400 yrs. Why are they suddenly scary and bad? Yes they did a bad thing 10 years ago (Osama Bin Laden) but he does NOT represent the 1.8 billion muslims. Thank you.

I see Sam Harris talking about his perceptions of Islam, however, will he actually ever engage in a debate with a high level Muslim scholor? (Shabir Ally is practically a local Islamic apologist, and easy to find) Harris talks about Muslims and Islam "Reports given to him or that he's read, on Islam and Muslims), without speaking to a real Muslim to get his perspective on that issue. This is typical Atheist cowardice.

@djs259 Things like the attack on Aziz Nesin and other events like that have nothing to do with Isreal or american miltarism. I do not belive for second that compassion for the suffering of palistinians can lead people to commite violance against civilians. The country of Bangladesh made the ,,Vested Property Act,, witch resulted in the forcefull theift of 75% of all Hindu land in the contry and I ask you how many of the islamist would be outraged by an act of injustace like that.

@djs259 it´s not like Isreal came along and all of the surdden Islamic militlism and aggression came to exist. I all honesty the religon of the palistinas does not matter to me, they could be christans and I would still fell the same way about christanity. If they were christans then the same people that would support Isreal would not suppot isreal and The Islamist would not be to consernde with the suffering of the palistinians if they were christans.
