"One of the strongest, well made, generally effective, debut feature dramas I've seen in several years. Holt and Nicole succeed very well in creating an intriguing main character."
- IndieWIRE's DIY Filmmaker Sujewa

A touching film with a lot of depth and an incredible sense of weight. Holt is a breath of fresh air and projects a unique and somewhat uncanny style of filmmaking that reminded me of the late 80s and early 90s. It had such meaning behind it that I felt as though I was right there alongside the characters. A terrific experience.

"Cookies & Cream is a good film, told from the heart. Although an interesting character study, the supporting actors also come to life."
- commonfilm.org

"Jace Nicole was fantastic. She was subtle, honest and human and believe me, THAT AINT EASY."
- ibuildsandcastles.com

"A fantastic feature debut from an emerging talent; the ensemble cast give A+ performances led by Jace Nicole, a star in the making."
- Jason Turley - Director of the Sexy International Film Festival

"Holt has a great story to tell, and has made an intelligent and compassionate drama."
- Sonic-Cinema.com

"3 Stars!"
