As part of the "States of Dress" series, artist Robin Barcus Slonina is creating an interactive, environmental "dress" sculpture in each state of the USA. "Willow Creek Dress" was created at the Jentel Artist Residency in Banner, Wyoming in July/August of 2006.

Is it not just a bunch of willow leaves made into a dress? Good craftsmanship, but I don't get inspiring aspect of this.. or the creativity. But I'm happy that there will always be supporters of this woman's vision.

Robin Barcus Slonina is one of the greatest young artists around. Her work encompasses multiple mediums and she is a true artist constantly striving to progress her art to new levels. respect.
