I liked the movie, but I didn't get the ending... did the thing kill the kid!?!?!?

And I gave my dog a rawhide chew today, and he was making those growling noises, and I completely FLIPPED OUT. Best to do these kinds of things before the movie...

What were those creatures zombies? Imagine your living in the woods as those creatures attack your house and then all of a sudden 30 zombies come and attack the creatures. Man! I wish I was the script writer of this movie. I'd change it a bit and maybe add a man who has control over Scorpions and he could manipulate the Scorpions to bite the creatures. You can't tame a Scorpion.
