To address the current crisis in the Horn of Africa, USAID, the Ad Council and R/GA have come together to create a campaign to spread awareness of the crisis and to encourage Americans to share the facts. The campaign enlists celebrity talent to encourage Americans to spread awareness, support the humanitarian organizations conducting the relief operations, and learn more about the solutions. The campaign is titled FWD, or famine, war and drought, which stands for the three crises affecting the Horn.
