Blog 39 - From the static

It has been 5 months since my last blog. This is my apology, explanation and promise.

"the light at the end of the tunnel is often the light of an oncoming train"

It started off as a question on priorities, I had run out of money, I had a £15,000 ($25,000ish back then) debt, I had rent to pay and so working for money became a priority. I had limited spare time and it was a choice of filming the film, or editing the blogs.. This was putting immense pressure on me and my relationship, I was feeling guilty and knew that I was letting the side down for all my viewers, I had other none-film related struggles and it all came together to form a mental-block on the project. I couldn't even look at it, which is very strange for me.

But time has passed and I'm coming out the other end.

I would like to thank everybody for their support, encouragement and well chosen words designed to give me a good solid boot up the derriere.

my god... you are so amazing, im starting to think that you are making two films, you should enter your blogs into a film fest of sorts, as exploratory, its a winner, you've greatly inspired me to make films, yet somehow, i never get to shooting, i plan and plan and don't come through, but you on the otherhand are briliant and born to film. I'm still working, Thank you so much.

It is so good to see you back again....,but hopefully not under duress..!! Health comes first - you owe us nothing. It has been a privilege to watch a creative and gifted person share such an experiance with us, thank you for that. It would be a bonus for us to see this project through to its conclusion and to see you reach a day of significant reward..!!!!
