I am gay. Going to say it flat out. I find it very hypocritical that they are saying "we love you so much and we are here for you... But oh you need to change something". Also, prove this. MMMMM nature or nurture debate aside, I think ALOT of being gay or even straight is down to what the person simply prefers, some prefer the look of men and only men, some prefer women, some like both but might prefer one over the other.

Sexual orientation is influenced by societal norms, organized religion, the way a person grows up, and mostly I think what a person simply prefers. I believe it's a mix of these things and that it's too complex to boil down to one given thing or reason.

If having a distant or abusive father makes one gay, I'm surprised there are as many heterosexual men as there are LEFT. I have 2 gay guys living next door, and they at least 4 times a week are trying to "pray away the gay ". I hear them some times shouting " jesus jesus on my god o my god. Bless them they are trying , other guys that join in some times. But why they need to be wearing leather i dont understand. Hey any way good luck with that. lol
