Defying Gov't Censorship, EPA Attorneys Speak Out Against White House-Backed Climate Change Proposal "Cap and Trade"

The Environmental Protection Agency is being accused of trying to silence two longtime EPA enforcement attorneys who have publicly criticized a key component of the climate change legislation being considered by Congress. Last week the EPA directed Laurie Williams and Allan Zabel to remove or edit a video they posted to YouTube that warns a cap-and-trade plan will not effectively combat global warming and is fatally flawed. The couple instead advocate for a solution involving carbon fees with rebates. [includes rush transcript]

Actually, Gore is in favor of a Carbon TAX, where revenues would go towards renewable energy.

In fact, Gore spoke @ the Miami Book Fair 11/15/09, he pointed out that drilling for Therrmo energy in most of the USA could be accomplished with the current oil drilling tech.

I'm tired of the Bush Tax cuts for Oil, the federal grants for (Cheney's) Halliburton for Nuclear Energy research, and, at the same time, the cry to stop any funding for Renewables.

He founded Generation Investment Management in 2004, then set about convincing the world to buy into his scam.

May I suggest a book, superfreakonomics recently came out and has an interesting take on global warming. I found it to be non-partisan.

I'm off point here because what they are talking about is that what the Cap and Trade does is move the air pollution around rather than actually bringing down or the CO2 levels down. The next feature is that is is a new money thing for Wall Street.

Like it or not, that is only 6 year away and not 50 as far as the oil connection. He wasn't born in a vacuum. It would be nicer if those leading this weren't from the oil industry! Have you you ever read C. Wright Mills?
