Avatar Cosplay @ FACTS 2008

This year, on the 11th and 12th of October, the FACTS convention was held in the city of Ghent (in Belgium) for the zillionth time.

Me and my friends participated in the cosplay competition as Ozai's Angels = Princess Azula, Mai and Ty Lee from Nickelodeon's Avatar: The Last Airbender

We got sixth place (darnit) but that won't stop us from participating in the contest next year! Enjoy the act and all comments are welcome! (Except for the really crappy ones like: "You guys suck! Get a life!")

Also, many thanks go out to Lina, who cosplayed Katara at FACTS, and to Fire Lord Ozai and Uncle Iroh that supported us through this and kept an eye on our bags. ^^

This was in the city of Ghent, in Belgium. (Which is in Europe, inbetween The Netherlands, Germany, France and across the canal - England! Oh and Luxemburg is a neighbouring country too but it's even tinier than Belgium.

@XenGwen Well, yes, there have been more Avatar cosplayers on conventions since then. Last year at Made in Asia there was a very large group that also had an Azula, Ty Lee and Mai, but also Aang, Sokka, Katara, Yue, Jet and even Suki (if I'm not mistaken.) If you want to see cosplayers, you need to go to conventions, but there's never a guarantee of what sort of cosplayers you'll see...

Ik was daar ook, ik was Iroh, maar deze mensjes gaan gewoon voor engels, en youtube is gewoon engels.xD Plus dat dit ook in Belgie was waar dus ook franse mensen waren.

Tja, en het feit dat zij het laatste "ja" hebben gezegd op meegaan. Tegen die tijd hadden we al een idee voor een act. (Al is die act die we eerst hadden bedacht uiteindelijk toch niet doorgegaan doordat het onmogelijk bleek die act op te nemen, dus hebben we uiteindelijk op 3 uur tijd de huidige act bedacht en opgenomen.)
