Faux Snooze is fostering a hyperreality of knownothingness. The USSR had in excess of 100,000 troops and was defeated. Afghanistan is where empires go to die. The U.S. went into Afghanistan to fight Al Qaeda. Now, that the AQ moved into Pakistan, we're fighting the Taliban. Keep that santorum spreading!
