SpongeStorm4000's Personalized LF for Green Bay, WI

I'm breaking one of my cardinal emulation rules... "Don't publish something that I know didn't exist... keep them as real as possible." However, SpongeStorm4000 won as a part of my "Customized LF" contest. So, for your enjoyment, SpongeStorm4000's customized J Flavor with "On A Chestnut Horse" by Fowler and Branca, with Air Quality Report.

This kicks off a month of looking at what I call "The Forgotten February Playlists". "On A Chestnut Horse" is a beautiful song that came out of the February 2, 1994 playlist.

I think the reason I quote on quote "forgot" this playlist is that although the songs are terrific, there are just too few of them. Each song was used for anywhere from 2 to 4 different cuts. After a few days, you were sick of the songs out of pure repetition. Although Matt of twcclassics.com's viewpoint on this playlist is that it was a welcome change after the 9 month April '93 list.

Can somebody please explain to me what all this "J Flavor" "A Flavor" talk is? Does it have something to do with the music?

The Air Quality Forecast would have been quite useful outside of So. Cal. on the Star 3000s and 4000s found in industrialized communities, like Newark, Chicago, Pittsburgh or Minneapolis. The idea of an Air Quality forecast did not gain much ground outside So. Cal., until the launch of the Intellistar. I found it fitting to add an Air Quality Forecast to my entry, since the Green Bay Metro Area has lots of paper mills and meat packing plants.

Speaking of things that didn't exist. This particular cut of this song didn't exist to us non-narrated folks who were forced to listen to "Tri-State Weather" instead. And I also saw this playlist as a welcome change. I was plumb sick of the April '93 playlist by the time this one debuted.

This is similar to some winning custom local forecasts last year that had Marine Forecasts in their entries. I've seen those custom entries from my fellow YT users and the WeatherStar 4000 from Burbank, CA, that inspired me to create my entry the way I did. It turned out great, Chazz. I give it five stars!
