@mara235 dont let him go.
there are different groups of the "taliban" some were funneled money by the CIA and are traitiors to Afghanistan, an afghanistan without a strong govt is in in the best interest of NATO, because they have selfish interests in afghanistan.
then there are the civilians who pick up arms as militants to fight the occupation of their land, the mujahideen they are also called taliban by the media and their children and wives who are bombed by nato are called "locals".

These folks want the Taliban back - we should let them be as they wish. My son is going over there and it truly is not worth risking his life for this.

yes, i'm strongly agree. Why they just can't stop the killing? I know the news was lying everyday about the violence in afghans.
-
I agree. I DON'T see how NATO, American Troops and the like are helping these people.

ZarakSK, go watch tv and listen to your pro-israel propaganda if that makes you happier.

I get that thanx, its against my faith to fight another human being or to kill another human being inspite of religious belief or racial backround. I'd rather take a bullet then discharge one
I'm so sad... Muslim wouldn't be supposed to fight each other. I was a pagan, but I never forget the word that was told to me by the great brother who led me; ""Everyone can talk about Allah, since he is not only the lord of Muslims, but the lord of mankind."" I was really touched by this wonderful thought. Therefore I love Allah and admire Islam. Islam is the most peaceful religion of the world.
Masha'Allah!! May Allah help Afghan

The poor, unpopular and "those that dont matter" are always left to fend for themselves until it costs money or heavily embarrasses their governments/societies/industries.
Its nice for some "unbiased" journalist orgs/media outlets like Al-Jazeera to at least give some spotlight/acknowledgment to some peoples.
