Tensions began to flare between Louise Patterson and her nephew several months after the bishop’s death. I believe this is the dread Elsie Shaw was prophesying about, because the church was a mess after his death. See how she implores the Lord to pity the church. So God took him ten years later instead of immediately. Thank God for answered prayer. Another King Hezekiah indeed!!

I think she was maybe seeing the death of Presiding Bishop Gilbert Earl Patterson. She was praying for the sheep to be spared. Upon Bishop Patterson's death so much confusion burst forth, with regard to the radio and television ministry, and his widow Sis Louise Patterson (in my view) was not properly given double honour according to scripture 1 Timothy 5:17 "Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine."
