This is the lovely monitor lizard who lives at the UWSP College of Natural Resources building. I try to visit and observe him at least once a week. He's a lively fellow, wouldn't you agree? He kept coming up to the glass seemingly in an attempt to get friendly with me. He kept banging his head into the glass when I kneeled down in front of him. I hope he wasn't bothered by me. My human reaction is thinking he liked me!

  • Thanks! Yeah, I know, I creeped myself out, too. If I had audio, I would've been saying, "Isn't he awesome?" But it came out looking like I just jumped onto the screen out of nowhere! Sorry about that. It was dark in there, too. *makes embarassed grimace*

  • Dude, your creepy ass face scared the crap out of me. Nice monitor and enclodure.

    Se7en,

  • The lizard is, indeed awesome, and my silly face can be, on occasions, very creepy, 'specially in a dark place! If I get the chance later, I'll load more video of the monitor without my face getting in the way! *smiles*

  • LOL. And yes, I would love to see more vids!

    Se7en,

  • Awesome! They also have a female lizard. I'll do what I can to record more. They are great creatures to watch.
