I bet you could go up river at Santee past a few sand bars to a deep hole where you see gar cruising in the spring and place a slab of carp in their mouth with a "jigger-pole"
The gar would get hooked, drop a sledge-hammer thrash, break the pole and get away. You would be left a quivering bag of nerves muttering pretty words to the Holy Spirit.
