Desmonette Hazly at We Step Into the Light in LA

We Step Into The Light's first event was co-sponsored by the YWCA and Cal State Dominguez Hills. It paired up rape survivors with CSUDH artists, who painted/photographed the women. The event encourages women to move on from their past, and become survivors who thrive. The event is the idea of Dr. Desmonette Hazly, who speaks here about the event.
