In Norway they eat the Svið just like they do in Iceland. I saw a video of it once. And they drink mjóð (mead) with it inside these wooden cups that look like Viking ships.

Well no wonder .. I bet that it is from Norway we got it from seeing Icelander come mostly from people from Norway ( Vikings) about 75% and also there slaves from Ireland, Scotland and maybe even England around 25 % and we drink Mjöð here as well hmm and you have Ð on your keyboard another letter that is only used in Icelandic hmm Why would you have a Icelandic keyboard if you are not Icelandic ??

@rainer1980 You have explained to me about that you dont have a Icelandic keyboard so you dont need to do that again LOL.. I have to tell my Iccelanic friend that lives in US about how you can write Icelandic letters even if you have US keyboard see she uses a e when she wants to but æ, th for Þ .. d for ð .o for ó , a for á and so on . So I guess I am not the only person that does now know you can do this LOL :-)

I've had Japanese Shirako, which is basically fish semen, and ignoring what it actually is, tastes quite good. So I wonder if the ram's testicle flavor shares any similarities.

A lot of people think the food tastes awefull but in the end often find it great.

I personally recoment the ram balls. Sour, sweet and most exelent ha ha :)

Most of the people from iceland eat this kind of food once a year, on a holiday called þorrinn. we have dominos, subay kfc and all of the fast food junk here as well so dont think we sit around in igloo´s eating shark and goat heads!?!?

@Maidenfairy12 no it is very good tasting and healthy VERY healthy, the iclantic food has keept the people alive for a very long time
