You'll wanna take Sting of the Wasp, Divine Avalanche, Soaring Dragon and Golden Dragonfly. Don't forget hasten and global recharge IOs!!!
P.S. A Katana/Fiery Aura that I know can DESTROY regens :3

how much does it cost to play?

Katana has more range on one attack. And I mean weapon draw time is annoying if you want to use laser eyes/energy torrent, then attack w/ mele... or heal, then go back to attacking.

I'm not completely sure about this but, doesn't Katana have more range? And the weapon draw time doesn't exist if your weapon is already drawn :P
