Ban All Religion!

No one is seriously wanting to ban religion. The very idea is thought control. This is a little bit of fun from a great Australian TV show called "The Gruen Transfer".

"The Gruen Transfer" examines the strategies used in advertising in a humorous way. The term describes that split second when the mall's intentionally confusing layout makes our eyes glaze and our jaws slacken... the moment when we forget what we came for and become impulse buyers.

This segment is a look at how agencies might sell something which is difficult or impossible. It's all done for a bit of a laugh while learning something along the way.

Ban religion? religion isn't the problem, you all are, hitler, stalin, chinese communist leader, korean leader are atheists and look how many people they killed millions. (hitler used christianity as a disguise to subdue the germans to vote for him, he burnt bibles and killed real christians)

But "forbid" them isn't THE idea either. People just should face reality and get rid of bronze age or medieval superstitions.

Religious people, this is 2012. You're acceptable to society as long as you keep outrageous, harmful beliefs out of western politics and people's livelihood. "he burnt bibles" (citation needed) "and killed real Christians" (implying that the millions of Christians who followed him weren't "real"). he killed dissidents regardless of religion, for being dissidents.

And Ive never heard of him burning bibles, although "origin of species" was certainly included in his black list.

if his followers weren't real Christians, then we can claim that Stalin and Mao weren't real atheists. and that fascism and communism aren't compatible w/ true atheism.
