Hey guys, sorry long time no posting, things have been crazy, but I figured I owed you some chaps (that and Breanna wouldn't SHUT UP about the lack of Wasted so I gave in and worked on it -.- you're welcome B!) -Megs


?'s POV 1 YEAR LATER (You'll find out who in a sec, chill.)((and NO it's not the blackmailer's POV!))

"This is ridiculous." Andrew said shaking his head as yet another roadie passed us pushing a black box, you know, they kind that holds wires and microphones and other music crap.
"I know, why does some popstar need to take over our arena? Why can't they use Calgary's, no one cares about the Flames."
"Because she's from Edmonton." Gilbert said and I looked over at him questioning.
"Who is it, anyway?"
"Weren't you listening idiot? Coach told us during the team meeting." He replied and Andrew chuckled.
"Megan McKay." Andrew said and I turned to look at him.
"Really?"
"Suddenly, you sound ok with her and her dumb tour taking over our arena for the next few days." Gilbert said and I shrugged.
"I don't mind her music, other than her pop crap."
"What you didn't like California Gurls?" Andrew teased and I rolled my eyes.
"I don't like girls from California, I'm more of an Albertan girl kind of guy."
"She's from Alberta." Gilbert said and again I rolled my eyes.
"Don't you have somewhere to be?" I asked and they both laughed before walking out the door. "Idiots." I mumbled to myself as I started towards our locker room. I left my phone here yesterday after practice.
I wondered over to the locker room and grabbed my phone from my stall. I clicked the button on the side and it lit up.

7 NEW MESSAGES.

Great. I hit the button again and the light went off as I slid it into my pocket, I'll get to them later. I wonder how the concert set up is going...I don't think they'd mind if I took a peak at the stage, maybe see if she was rehearsing?
I left the locker room ad walked back to the main hallway, looking for an open door. I found one near the door and slipped through, walking in and sitting down in the nearest seat. I looked up at the stage and there she was. Sitting on the edge of the stage, strumming away on her famous vintage acoustic guitar, pausing to write something in the notebook beside her before continuing to play.

She sang softly to herself and I smiled. Her lyrics are always amazing, and they're always so true! It's kind of crazy accurate most of the time.
