Dion's version is too over-the-top and too much about her own vocal gymnastics than the power of the song. Completely inappropriate to the meaning and emotion, unlike this fantastic version which is completely intertwined with the rest of it.

In this version, the instrumentals is great while in Celine Dion's version something has been cut like (electric guitars....)

Quoted from wiki, the writer was inspired by Wuthering Height to compose the song. He compared the song to 'Heathcliff digging up Cathy's corpse and dancing with it in the cold moonlight'. The song can now be appreciated in the spirit which it was originally intended .

I first heard this on Radio 1 with Steve Wright in 1989 and he predicted it to be a No1 single... however, it reached No 61! But this is by far the better version. My Daughter is 11 & has this version on her iPod! I just love it.
