This is a song I wrote one day after thinking about my birth mother, Jane. Instead of writing a letter to her which my parents encourage me to do, I wrote this song which is a letter to her.

This song touched me. I am a Birth mother of 3 Children. Ages 3 1/2, 2 1/2. 1 1/2. My youngest is to be adopted out by a family that I have gotten to know very well over the last year and a half. I am a single mom with a very tough situation right now. At first I was very hesitant but now I see the love and devotion they have toward my daughter, as well as my other 2 children. I am a BMom & think this is wonderful of you to make this for her! I also have had a son that was adopted/ taken from me, but thats along story. Which was almost 15 years ago. I have found him and he is not ready to reunite with me, not sure why but I hope he doesnt hate me???? I cry all the time and have for the past 15 years. Just waiting till that day when I can hold him in my arms again.. Great song, I hope my son is like you soon! ttyl kim

Thank you so much for this beautiful song. Today is my little boys 7th birthday, he went home with his adoptive family on Christmas 2004.I think about how he is everyday. When they send me letters & pictures, they also send me his favorite things of that year. I write him a letter every year and experience things he loves that I havent tried; I document them and keep the with his letter. I hope when I get the chance to see him again that it will be as surreal as this lovely song. <3

This is a beautiful song :) brought me to tears when i saw it i am a birthmorther to a beautiful babyboy whom is now 10yrs...(not so much a baby anymore) your song is exactly how i feel the things u tell i wonder of my own an i am sure your Birthmother thinks of u all the time there is no way not too...hopefully u two will connect at some point as i hope to with my own son i wonder the struggles he will face when if he doesn't already know the hardest thing a person can do is give up a child!
