Don`t pay to get in on the North Cape plateau. Park the car along the road 1-3 km before you get to the entrance facilities, and take the nice walk in to the plateau. This is perfectly Legal, because in Norway you have the "everyman's right" that means you have the right of free public access to the wilderness, both on public or privately owned land for recreation and exercise: North Cape is such a place. It`s Rica Hotels that are cheating tourists, and give nothing back to the local people!

@MasterOfSilence87 It is also important tok now that North Cape not are the northernmost point in Europe. That's a myth the capitalists want you to belive so they can make money on the visitorcenter at the North Cape plateau. The real northernmost point is "Knivskjelodden" witch lies 1,6km more to the north. To get to Knivskjelodden you have to park the car/bike on a small parking lot about 3,5km south/before you get to the North Cape entarnce facilities, and do the 18km(free)walk out and back.

Nordkapp was my favorite destination in my 6 months motorcycle trip. I am convinced that many other people list Nordkapp as their favorite destination!!!

Does anybody know where I can buy this movie on BluRay online? It was for sale in the gift shop at Nord Kapp but I figured I'd buy it online when I get back at home. Unfortunately I can't find it anywhere. Neither as a HD download or in a webshop.

I love this video, I love this place. Thank you so much for these unbelieveable impressions. It`s my dream to drive to the northcape by car and the day will come I let my dream comes true. Not today, not tomorrow but the day will come. And when I stay there, looking over the sea from the top of the mountain, then i forget everything...for one minute of my life.

@bigdaddyevil666 If you have been told this information, then you are one of the few lucky ones. But I don't really se the point in visiting the northern most point in Norway when you visiting a place that is not. No one would climb K2 and say that they have been on the highest mountain in the world when Everest is 237 meters higher. Knivskjelodden is 1,6 kilometers further north, and is therfore the northern most spot with a great margin.

@Marsteintoppen Oh those evil Capitalists They tell you that they are not the Northern Most spot in Europe We were told this before we went up there, while we were up there and again when we were leaving It's no different than Hammerfest saying they are the Northern most town when it is so obvious they are not Everything in Northern Norway is the Northern most something If it gets a few idiots to pay for it then fine Pay or walk for free the North Cape is still an great place to visit if you can
